The Reverend Kathleen McAdams, Rector
Kathy has been the St. John’s Rector since January, 2018. Kathy grew up in California and Colorado, and moved from San Francisco to Massachusetts in 2006 to serve as Executive Director of Ecclesia Ministries common cathedral, an outdoor church and street ministry in Boston. Since leaving common cathedral at the end of 2013, Kathy was a program manager for a secular non-profit, and served several congregations in the Diocese of Massachusetts. Previously, she served a congregation in Palo Alto, California. An Episcopal Priest since 2001, Kathy has a breadth of experience in leading congregations, organizations and programs, as well as working with volunteers, clergy and other community leaders. Kathy lives in Canton with her spouse and our 3 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 horses. She enjoys horseback riding, cycling, kayaking, dancing, organic vegetable gardening, and vegan cooking. Kathy spends half of her time with St John’s, and half with Care Dimensions, as a Hospice Chaplain for patients at home and in care facilities.
The Reverend Ron Tibbetts, Deacon
Ordained into The Holy Order of the Diaconate in The Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts in 2001, Ron has served as deacon in several parishes across the diocese. With a passion for the advancement of human rights and social justice Ron has worked in various capacities at several ministries meeting the needs of the poor and the homeless of Boston. Additionally, Ron spearheaded The #2069 Project, an opioid awareness campaign launched in Wrentham MA, and co-founded One Family, a program in Attleboro MA, whose mission is to serve low-income families in that community.
A published author Ron and his wife Vicky live in Norfolk, have two adult children and ten grandchildren who joyfully fill their spare time.
Nancy Conrad, Music Minister
Music has been always in Nancy’s life, from studying piano and organ to working extensively with choirs, especially at Episcopal churches. She has been at St. John’s in Franklin since 2018. Choral music is the love of her life – teaching singers how to reach out with love and devotion to the church body. She also enjoys music composition, words and music to hymns and service music.
