Special Pet Blessings on October 4

Love your pet? Come to St. John’s Church for a special Blessing of the Pets on Sunday Oct. 4th during the 10 am worship service on the front lawn of the church at 237 Pleasant Street, Franklin.

The Rev. Kathy McAdams will lead the Sunday service and end with a special blessing for all pets in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, who is associated with patronage of animals and the natural environment. Bring your dog, cat, bird or whoever is your beloved pet (on a leash or in carriers, please). Favorite stuffed animals are invited too!

All are welcome to attend the service and blessing.
