The Franklin Neighbor Brigade is running a donation drive for Dignity Matters, a new non-profit based in Wayland, MA that collects donations of items for women that are homeless. They currently donate to shelters all over Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The 3 items they collect are rarely donated to shelters and there is a huge need for them. These products greatly increase the self-esteem of women and give them the dignity they deserve. For more information on Dignity Matters go to www.dignity-matters.org.
The donations they are looking for are: 1) Gently used or new bras; 2) New underpants with tags or still in the packaging; and 3) Feminine hygiene products (preferred Super Absorbency) either pads or tampons) in new unopened boxes or open boxes with individually wrapped products.
If you would like to help out, you can bring the items to St. John's and leave them in the designated collection box until March 10th.
Please see Joanna Wrona if you have any questions.
